Oasis Adds Four Live ’27 Shows Before Tickets Go On Sale, Citing ‘Phenomenal Demand’

Oasis has added four concerts to its Live ’27 tour before the first ticket onsale window has even opened, expanding the stadium run from 38 to 42 shows after what the band called “phenomenal demand.”

The newly announced dates are July 6 at Allianz Arena in Munich, July 26 at Stadio Olimpico in Rome and Sept. 25 and 26 at Knebworth Park in England.

Oasis also changed one previously announced concert, moving its July 24 Stade de France show in Paris to July 20 because of railway engineering work near the venue. The band will now play Paris on July 20 and 23.

What makes the additions somewhat unusual is that they arrive before fans have had an opportunity to buy Live ’27 tickets.

Registration for the tour has closed, but Ticketmaster says successful registrants will not begin receiving their unique access codes until Sept. 24. Ticket sales are being staggered across Sept. 25, 26 and 27, meaning none of the original 38 shows had gone through the tour’s registration-only public onsale when Oasis announced the additional dates Wednesday.

That means Oasis’ reference to “phenomenal demand” cannot be based on sell-through from the original dates. The band has not publicly disclosed registration totals, but the additions appear to reflect registration volume or another measure of advance interest.

Ticketmaster has said from the outset that demand is expected to exceed the number of available tickets. Fans were allowed to register for as many as three cities, with successful applicants randomly selected to receive a code for one city and one allocated onsale window. There will be no separate general onsale.

The additions also make a purportedly leaked Live ’27 itinerary that circulated before Oasis announced the tour look even more accurate.

TicketNews reported last week that all 38 dates in Oasis’ initial announcement appeared on a previously circulated 42-show schedule with matching venues and dates. Only four concerts on that document had been left off the original announcement: Munich on July 6, Paris on July 20 and Knebworth on Sept. 25 and 26.

Three of those previously unannounced concerts — Munich and the two Knebworth dates — have now been added outright, while July 20 has become an official Paris date because of the scheduling change.

The new Rome show on July 26, meanwhile, did not appear among the four additional dates identified on the leaked schedule.

As a result, 41 of the 42 dates on Oasis’ updated official itinerary correspond with dates on the purported leaked schedule. The July 24 Paris concert is the one date from that document no longer scheduled, while the newly added July 26 Rome show is the one current Live ’27 date that was not included.

The additions bring Oasis to six Knebworth performances across three consecutive weekends in September, extending a return to the site of the band’s landmark 1996 concerts.

Fans selected through the registration process can purchase as many as four tickets with their code. Ticketmaster says codes are valid only for the city and onsale time assigned to each registrant.
