Sharon Osbourne Confirms Return of Ozzfest in 2027; Will Launch in England, Then Head to U.S.

Sharon and Jack Osbourne have officially confirmed the return of the legendary Ozzfest.

The Osbournes revealed the news on the latest episode of “The Osbournes” podcast. Sharon said the festival is set to re-launch in 2027, kicking-off with a two-day event in the late Ozzy Osbourne’s hometown of Birmingham, England. From there, they’ll head to America for another two-day festival.

“We wanna hear from everyone where we should go in America,” Sharon said. “And also we’ve gotta find a lot of young, new talent, because that’s what [Ozzy] would want.”

Jack noted “that’s what Ozzfest was all about,” and “that second stage, that was the incubator — that’s where so many [bands] came out of.”

Sharon added that “we’ll see how it does” and “if people want it, we’ll be there [in the] following years.” While it won’t start out as a traveling festival, she hinted that this could be a possibility beginning in 2028.

Ozzfest, founded by Sharon and Ozzy, ran from 1996 to 2018, featuring big-name metal acts like Black Sabbath, Slipknot, and Korn.
